Li Shirong serves at Chongqing Xingrong Medical Aesthetic Hospital. With a 40-year medical career and 33 years of clinical experience in genital plastic surgery, he is the only director-level physician in genital plastic surgery in China, a military medical professor, and a leader in China’s genital plastic surgery field. He specializes in lengthening, thickening, and repair and correction procedures.

Biography

Li Shirong: Graduated from the Department of Military Medicine of the Third Military Medical University. He has been engaged in plastic surgery for many years and has extensive diagnostic and treatment experience. He has published more than 400 academic papers (including more than 50 SCI papers), undertaken 2 provincial- and ministerial-level key projects, and 15 Natural Science Foundation projects. He has been invited to Japan, the Netherlands, Finland, Germany, France, South Korea, the United States, Hong Kong, and other places for lectures and academic exchanges. He has chaired plastic and aesthetic surgery academic exchange meetings and organized advanced training courses in plastic and aesthetic surgery on multiple occasions, has been elected chair of academic conferences more than ten times, and has trained more than 400 plastic and aesthetic surgery professionals.

Li Shirong is skilled in various plastic and aesthetic surgery procedures and has introduced more than 30 new services and techniques. He was the first to use a scrotal skin flap to cover the elongated corpus cavernosum for penile lengthening surgery; the paper was published in the American plastic surgery journal “PRS” (PRS 105:596-599, 2000), and he received the Second Prize for Medical Achievement in 2007. “Digital Research on the Penis” was funded by the Natural Science Foundation.
